Victims, Families, Concertgoers, Citizens and First Responders of the Las Vegas Shooting

In the wake of yet another deadly tragedy, it is of vital importance to those involved and to the great people of this nation that we all come together as one people to console and offer love, thoughts and prayers to the victims and families affected by this terrible incident. We must come together; not divided as political parties, races, religions or creeds, but as one unified nation of Americans resolved on the stance of one nation, under God. Together, we can overcome any obstacle.

That is why Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is inviting the good people of Elkhart and the Michiana community to come together and sign a collective register book designed to capture signatures and written thoughts from the citizens of our community to the people and first responders affected by Sunday’s tragedy in Las Vegas. While it is a small, simple token from our community, we hope it sends a huge message to those affected that their loss, grief and pain is shared by people who they don’t even know that live on the other side of the country. And through this simple display of compassion and solidarity, we ourselves begin to heal because of that human desire to “reach out”.
