If your loved one’s death is imminent, please call us. We can discuss your options and what to do next.
If your loved one has died at a nursing home, hospice facility, or hospital, please tell the staff you’ve chosen Billings Funeral Home. They will notify us.
If your loved one has died at home under hospice care, please tell the nurse you’ve chosen Billings Funeral Home. He or she will notify us.
If your loved one has died at home without hospice care, please call 9–1–1. Inform the county coroner or police you’ve chosen Billings Funeral Home when they arrive. They will notify us.
Once we’re notified of your loved one’s death, our care team will arrive shortly. In the meantime, call us if you have any questions. We are available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
We don’t want to overwhelm you—you have enough on your mind—but we’ll need some information to begin caring for your family. You may either answer a few questions when our care team arrives or fill out this printable form in advance. Regardless, we’ll need to know:
After your loved one is in our care, we’ll call to schedule a time when you can meet with one of our funeral directors in our arrangements office.
Brad, Jo, Bill or Dorinda will review all of your options and answer all of your questions.
