Dale E. Kiefer

ELKHART — ELKHART: Dale E. Kiefer, 76, passed away Wednesday evening, December 27, 2017 at Elkhart General Hospital, and is now with his loving wife of 57 years, Stephanie, who just passed November 14, 2017. They were married September 3, 1960. Dale was born November 24, 1941 to the late Maynard D. and Wilma M. (Johnson) Kiefer. Surviving are 3 daughters, Kristin Ashcraft, Kelly Kiefer and Karen Thacker; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; and one brother, Larry Kiefer. Dale worked in sales in the RV Industry for many years. He loved going to the beaches of Florida (just like Stephanie) and loved to play slots at the casino. A memorial service celebrating the life of Dale E. Kiefer will be held at 7:30 PM. Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart. Visitation with the family will begin at 5:30 PM until service time. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial donations are welcome to be made to the family, In lieu of flowers.
