Timothy Joe Jetter, 65, of Osceola, Indiana, passed away peacefully, Friday, January 7, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease, at the Center for Hospice Care, Raclin House, Mishawaka. Tim was born on November 19, 1956 in Lansing, MI to Donald Jetter and Charlene (Saterlee) Jetter. He married his best friend Tammy J. Mayer on a very warm June 26, 1993 day, at Willowdale Park in Elkhart. Tammy survives, as well as two sons, Charles (Melanie) Jetter, Bernard Jetter and a daughter Amanda Jetter; five grandchildren, Trevor, Tony, Clare, Noah, Emma; mother Charlene Jetter; and sisters, Renee (Don) Mitchell and Kathy (Jeff) Grider; Tim will be especially missed by his constant companion, Sally, a Wirehaired Miniature Dachshund, who was with him till the end. Tim’s father Donald Jetter preceded him in death.
Tim retired from Vincent-Bach after 32 years as a packer and polisher. Tim was known as a very hard worker. He enjoyed going to flea markets and breakfast with his wife. He had many close friends from his days at Vincent Bach. He loved to be outside and working in his yard. Most important to Tim, was spending time with his grandchildren.
A celebration of life memorial service for Tim, will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, beginning with visitation with his family, from 3-5 p.m. with the service following at 5:00 p.m., at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart. Pastor Tim Sheets, of Northside Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Per Tim’s wishes, cremation was chosen and has taken place.
