Telissa Angel Willis

Telissa Angel Willis, 42, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on March 21, 1981, in Elkhart to the late Ronald P. Davis and Barbara Willis, who survives her.

Telissa is also survived by her brother, William P. Davis; uncles, Dale Willis and Robert “Bobby” Willis; and a host of cousins. She is preceded in death by her father; brother, Dale Allen Willis; and grandmother, Joan M. Willis.

Cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. A memorial service will take place at The Salvation Army at a later date.

Telissa was a kind and loving woman who loved to help those in need. She attended The Salvation Army since she was an infant and worked at the local Martin’s and Kroger for a time. Telissa loved children and helped her mother, Barbara, babysit. She was a good listener and would enjoy good conversation with her family and friends. Telissa’s family meant the world to her and she was very close to her brother and mother, whom she would often check on and call letting them know how much she loved them. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and by the many lives she touched with her kindness.
