Suzanne “Suzie” G. George, 78, of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at North Woods Village in Mishawaka.
Suzie was born on April 21, 1944 to the late, Frank Fisher and Florence (Boyce) Fisher in San Antonio, TX. Suzy married the love of her life, Daniel “Dan” L. George in Elkhart on February 25, 1981.
Suzie is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dan George of Elkhart; son, Damon (Nanette) Warfel of Ft. Myers, FL; grandchildren, Kylynne Warfel and John L. (Jennifer) George; and her dog, Shadow.
Suzie was the quintessential wife, mom and grandmother. Every year she looked forward to going to Bonita Springs, Florida with her family for half the year. Suzie was an avid film photographer starting with weddings and later continuing as a hobby. In her spare time, Suzie also created intricate floral and tree arrangements. She was an animal lover to the core. Whether you were a stranger or friends, her bubbly nature exuded through her. Suzie was a loving, caring lady and adored her family, especially her grandchildren.
Per the family’s wishes, Suzy will be having a private funeral service with burial at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Cemetery in Elkhart.
