Steven E. Briscoe

Steven E. Briscoe, 45, of Elkhart, formerly of Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, in Elkhart. He was born in Edinburg, TX on November 14, 1976, to the late Roger D. Briscoe, who passed away in 2014, and Adelaida Guevara Dickson, who survives him in Claypool, IN.

Steven is survived by his children, Richard Issac Navarro, Angela Briscoe, Rachel Briscoe, Areyell and Evan Moore, and siblings, Cassandra Briscoe, Roger F. Briscoe, Crystal Munson, and Christopher J. Briscoe.

In accordance with his family’s wishes, cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.  

Steven was a man with a tender heart and quiet demeanor with many hidden talents. He worked in production for Keystone RV Company for several years. Steven was an excellent cook and enjoyed cookouts with his family, grilling up the best chicken and steaks around. He was also a talented singer who would croon to old R&B songs and would try his hand at rapping from time to time. Steven was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being out on the water. When he was younger, he and his father and siblings would often go out to South Padre Island to fish on the docks or hunt jackrabbits in the orange groves of Texas. Steven will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.
