Ronald "Ronnie" C. Rowland

Ronald “Ronnie” C. Rowland, 68, of South Bend, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 5, 2021 at South Bend Memorial Hospital.

Ronald was born on June 26, 1952 in Richmond, IN to John and Mae (Gambrel) Rowland. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ronnie is survived by many friends and his “Lutz” family.

Ronnie loved all types of music, especially Johnny Cash. He enjoyed dancing, eating a good meal and being outdoors. Ronnie was a “people person” who loved good conversation. His laughter and smile could light up any room. Ronnie had fun playfully teasing his friends and liked to flirt with women. He was quite a mischievous character and will be greatly missed.

A gathering of friends will be held on Tuesday, April 20,2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514. A Celebration of Ronnie’s Life Service will follow at 12:00 noon in the funeral home with Pastor Jeremy Sarber officiating. Burial of cremains will follow at Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen.
