Robert "Bob" D. Price

Robert D. “Bob” Price, 81, of Elkhart, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart. He was born in Chicago, IL on August 24, 1937 to the late George and Thelma (Alderson) Price.

He is survived by his loving wife, Teddi (Wiencek) Price; sons, Dave (Carla) Price and Steve (Rochelle) Price; grandchildren, Taylor, Alex, Kelsey, Noah, Tatyana, and Sophia; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob was Director of Big Brother and Big Sisters and worked for United Way as the Director of Planning and Allocations. He was also the recipient of the prestigious Sagamore of Wabash award and proudly served in the United States Army. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church and was an active member of the Kiwanis Club. Bob loved to play golf, go sailing out on the water, and enjoyed reading a good book. He was a kind, smart, and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be missed by his family and many friends.  

In accordance with Bob’s wishes, cremation will take place. A visitation will take place on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2715 E. Jackson Blvd., Elkhart.
