Bob’s service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Scott Davis officiating and military honors to take place prior to the service. Memorial donations may be given to the Griffes family directly, c/o Angela Griffes, to help alleviate funeral expenses.
Bob was a kind man who was a stranger to no one. He served proudly in the United States Army during Vietnam and worked for several years as a truck driver. Bob was a young man at heart and enjoyed a good joke or two, shared stories about his experience in the war, and always had a project he was trying to tackle. He loved keeping busy and doing yard work as well as tending to his garden.
Bob enjoyed being with his best friend and daughter, Angela, who was his whole world. They would do just about anything together from going on walks, taking Ella to the dog park, to shopping locally. In his spare time, Bob was an avid fisherman and was a part of the A.A.C, a motorcycle club consisting of other veterans, although he never rode a motorcycle himself. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends.
