Rita M. Watson

Mrs. Rita M. Watson, 96, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.

She was born in Kinzua, PA on November 7, 1922 to the late Jacob and Mildred (Fowler) McFall, and later married Dr. Andrew Watson on Nov. 09, 1942 in Oil City, PA. He preceded her in death in 2003.

 She is survived by her children Craig and David Watson and Elaine Moreland; grandson Tristan Watson; brother Clark McFall and sisters Mary Gray and Alma Rae Pearson. She is preceded in death by a son, Mark Watson, three brothers and five sisters.

Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart has been assisting the family with arrangements. In accordance with her wishes, Rita is to be cremated and then entombed next to her husband in the veteran’s section of Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart.

Rita was an administrative secretary for the Ames Division of Miles Laboratories.
