Peggy Ann (Morgan) Forester

Peggy A. Forester, 83, of Elkhart, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Majestic Care of Goshen.

Peggy was born on June 13, 1940 in Marked Tree, AR to the late, Ira and Pansy (Payne) Morgan.

She married the love of her life, Gerald Wayne Forester on December 8, 1955.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Gerald on June 18, 2011; parents, Ira and Pansy; siblings, James Morgan, George Earl Morgan, CJ Morgan, Royce Morgan, Estelle Clizbe, Martha Dale Hughes and Betty Lou Phillips.

Peggy is survived by her children, Sharon (Stan) McSorley, Tim (Cindy) Forester, Kim (Rex) Ennen and Ty (Tanya) Forester; grandchildren, Erika (Jason) Riegsecker, Spencer (Andrea) McSorley, Ross (Jena) Forester and Samantha Forester (Stephen), and Morgan (Eric) Otolski; 10 great grandchildren, Kailey, Macey and Brady Riegsecker, Seth, Micah, Nathan and Isaac McSorley, Brody and Graham Forester and Sterling Otolski; step grandchildren, Bret (Casidi) Ennen, Alyssa (Rob) Burnett, Mandy Rice (John) and Kayla Molnar; step great grandchildren, Claire and Theo Burnett, Evelyn and Maria Ennen, Madilyn, Evelyn and Warren Rice, Greyson, Liam and Nixon Langreder; siblings, Howard (Joyce) Morgan, Barbara (Harold) Pitts, Joyce (Wayne) Carr and Sue Weeks; and her furry companion, Teddy.

In her early working years, Peggy was a bank teller at St. Joseph Valley Bank and First Source Bank. She and her husband, Gerald were past members of Willowdale Church of Christ. She has continued to love the Lord and read her Bible.

Peggy was an Elvis fan especially his gospel hits. She was a huge animal lover, especially dogs.

Peggy enjoyed having conversations with strangers only to become friends soon afterwards.

Her family was her world to Peggy. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and she will be missed.

A Funeral Service for Peggy will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, November 13, 2023 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am  to 12:00 pm, 2 hours prior to the start of the service at the funeral home.

Graveside service and entombment will follow the funeral at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens and Cemetery in Osceola.
