Paul D. Hoshal, 77, of Bristol, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Chicago, IL on June 17, 1943 to the late Douglas and Florence (Jeziering) Hoshal.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Hoshal; son, Chris (Chrissy) Hoshal; daughters, Trina (Rick) Medford and Jessica (Tim) Coburn; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Matthew Christopher Hoshal; and his sister, Gloria.
In accordance with Paul’s wishes, cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. and Altera Cremation Services of Elkhart.
Paul was a very loving and hard-working father who always put his family first before anything else and served proudly in the United States Marines. He was also known for being a bit ornery and having a good sense of humor despite his tough exterior. Paul worked as a welder for many years and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, who passed down his love of riding to his son. He married the love of his life, Darlene, in 2012 and together they shared eight wonderful years of marriage. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading mystery and science fiction novels as well as solving crossword puzzles. Paul will be missed greatly by his loving family and many friends.
