Patricia Beal

Ms. Patricia Ann “Patty” Beal, 56, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at Golden Living Center in Elkhart on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 1:15 pm following an extended illness. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on October 30, 1963 and was the daughter of Paul and Willie Mae (Massey) Ellis.

Surviving to cherish the memory of a loving mother are her daughters Catherine (Candice) Beal, Leanna Beal and Ronisha (Zepphora Deal) Beal, all of Elkhart;  cherished grandchildren Shonquese Neal, Cry’Shayla and Zaryia Toplin, Jakayla and Dajshiana Williams, Christopher, Ce’monteaw and Princess Beal and Mathai Washington, loving great-grandchildren Amir and Christiana Neal and Auna Toplin, as well as a host of loving brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends who blessed Patricia and the family along their journey with kind words, deeds and well wishes.

In accordance with Patty’s wishes, cremation has taken place with the assistance of Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart.

Patricia was a loving and devout Christian lady whose spirituality and virtue were reflected in those she loved the most. She was a consummate champion to her children and grandchildren, and lavished them with her love, kindness, caring and strength. She had a heart as big as all of outdoors, and she enjoyed being able to volunteer within her community to help out with worthy causes that stood up for the good of all humanity. She especially loved volunteering and being an advocate at the local YWCA because, as a youth, she benefitted from the services of the YWCA as well.
