Pamela Diane “Pam” Litzenberg, 67, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Pam was born on November 17, 1952 in Jackson, Michigan to Herbert Densmore and Ruth (Bisbee) Schott.
She met a man named Dale A. Litzenberg, who stole her heart, and on “Sweetest Day” October 17, 2002 they united in marriage in Bristol.
Surviving is her husband and best friend Dale A. Litzenberg; together they had a wonderful blended family of 7 children; Danny (Susan) Hiatt, Cindy Armstrong, BJ (Heather) Armstrong, Joe (Adri) Allen, Dennis (Janah) Adler, Tiffany Lane and Raymond Jackson; she will also be missed by her mother Ruth Schott, and another mom to her, June Litzenberg as well as 22 grandchildren; her 8 siblings, Rick Gardener, Penny (Richard) Majewski, Jerry (Debbie) Schott, Stanley (Christina) Schott, Scott (Barbara) Densmore, Dorothy (Lee) Whitehead and Barbara Kimmel.
Pam was preceded in death by her father Herbert, son, Kenny Hiatt, brothers, Kenny Schott, James Schott and sisters, Janice Schott and Kathy Densmore.
Pam retired after 15 years from Amerimax in Bristol. She was a Hippy at heart and loved anything to do with Indian culture; her Indian name was “Wild Flower.” Pam was an avid animal lover, enjoyed camping, swimming, being outdoors, cooking, and motorcycling with Dale. Pam’s family was the most important gift in her life.
Everyone is invited to gather on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 1-3 pm at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart, where services celebrating Pam’s life will begin at 3:00 pm. Pastor Robert Densmore will officiate. Per her wishes, cremation has been chosen after services. The family kindly requests no flowers, please consider donations in Pam’s memory to Elkhart County Humane Society.
