ELKHART — Maxine M. Personett, 84, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully of natural causes at Hubbard Hill Estates on Monday, Aug. 27, 2018.
She was born, in Elkhart, July 21, 1934, to the late Arthur and Dorothy (Beasley) Hoadley.
Surviving are daughters Marianne (Pat) Stemm and Marcy (John) Harrison; stepchildren Mike (Beth) Personett and Kelly (Jim) Loupee; grandchildren Joshua (Krystal) Dale, Zachary (Ashlee) Harrison, Chad Dale and Andrew Harrison; stepgrandchildren Justin Robinson, Marianne (Davis) Coleman, Brad (Tina) Personett, Mackenzie and Kyle Loupee and Kelly Stack; eight great-grandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; her sister, Beverly Wise and former spouse, Robert (Rosemary) McCloughan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Personett; son Michael P. McCloughan; stepdaughter Shelly Fry; and brother Dick Hoadley.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. with visitation at 2 p.m. at Hubbard Hill, 28070 C.R. 24, Elkhart, Friday, Aug. 31.
Chaplain Dave Severance will officiate.
Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is assisting the family.
Maxine graduated from Elkhart High School in 1952 and worked in the medical profession her entire life as a medical transcriptionist at EGH and OSMC.
She was a master gardener and avid cat lover.
Memorials may be given to the Humane Society of Elkhart County.
