Maryann Baer

Maryann Baer,80, of Elkhart, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital.

Maryann was born on June 14, 1940 to the late, Carl W. Miller and Thelma (Fowler) Miller in Elkhart, IN. Maryann is married to Darrell W. Baer in Las Vegas, NV on August 27, 1988. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Maryann is survived by her husband of 34 years, Darrell; daughter, Lisa (Kevin) Grover of Granger; granddaughter, Jennifer (Brad) Shively; and 2 great grandchildren, Anne Marie and Alexa Lynne.

Maryann graduated from 1958 from Elkhart High School. She was a member of California Road Missionary Church. Maryann worked from 1964-2003 at Vincent Bach (Conn-Selmer) as an inspector. Maryann loved to shop for clothes, solve crossword puzzles, travel and go to the casino. She also enjoyed having breakfast at Bristol Street Café with her friends.  She was a huge animal lover especially to her dogs, Hannah and Jake.   

Visitation for family and friends will be on April 7, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514. A Celebration of Maryann’s Life Service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Billings Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Dalrymple of California Road Missionary Church officiating. Burial will follow at California Road Cemetery.
