Mary DiGiacomo Life Story

Mary Jane DiGiacomo, 94, of Elkhart, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 25, 1924 in Elkhart, IN to the late John and Jean (Mattazo) Iavagnilio.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Robinson and Tina DiGiacomo; sons, Thomas (Chris), Dominic, and Philip (Marilyn) DiGiacomo; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two great great granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ecilio A. DiGiacomo; daughter, Janice Sites; three brothers and four sisters; and son-in-law, David Robinson.

Family and friends are called to gather for visitation on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 2 - 4:00 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A private burial will take place at a later time at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given directly to the DiGiacomo Family.

Mary worked at Dana Corporation for over 20 years in production, until she was 76. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Elkhart and was very devoted to her faith. She was known for her exquisite cooking and will be remembered fondly by her loving family and friends.
