Madonna Ann Muffley, of Elkhart, passed away on Monday September 4, 2023 at her home.
Madonna was born in Greenfield IN on November 19, 1972 to William “Bill” Richey and Phyllis (Bayliff) Richey.
She is preceded in death by her father, Bill Richey and brother, William S. “Bill” Richey.
Madonna is survived by her husband, Carl Muffley; granddaughter Holly McKelvey; son, James (Karley) McKelvey; mother Phyliss Ford; sister, Kelly (Ed) Fields; brothers Aaron Werner, Kevin (Kathy) Werner, and Gregory (Hilaria) Werner; father-in-law, Larry Muffley; mother-in-law, Joyce Brown; sister-in-law, Angel Muffley, and her faithful babies, Pipper and Pepper whom went everywhere with her.
Madonna co-owned Echo Contracting with her husband Carl. Located at 3720 Cassopolis St. in Elkhart, Echo Contracting is a local remodeling company for home improvement services where she pursued her passion for painting and design for the past 12 years.
Madonna enjoyed working around her home doing landscaping, playing with her flowers, and working on various other home projects, including decorating for Christmas, which she loved the most. She spent summers in Plymouth at Yogi Bear Campgrounds with her granddaughter, where her and Carl owned two campers and lots. Madonna absolutely loved her life and raising her granddaughter.
A member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Madonna was a thoughtful, kind, and beautiful woman inside and out, who always placed others before herself. Madonna will be forever missed by her family, her world.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, at noon at Trinity Lutheran Church, 30888 C.R. 6, Elkhart, IN 46514 with Pastor Mason Vieth officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the church prior to services. Graveside Service will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN. Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart is assisting the family.
