Lucinda "Cindy" Mamoran Life Story

Lucinda "Cindy" Fay Mamoran, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2024, at St. Vincent Heart Hospital in Noblesville, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 11, 1951, in Elkhart, Indiana, to Beatrice Staley, Cindy lived her entire life in the community she cherished. Sadly, she was predeceased by her mother and her son, Daniel Staley.

Cindy's life was enriched by a loving family. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 44 years, Steven "Hank" Mamoran, whom she married on February 14th, 1980. She will also be deeply missed by her granddaughters Brittaney Staley and Bridgette (Jake) Chambers, her great-grandchildren Urijah Quirk, Braelynn Staley, Ryan Quesinberry, Sawyer Chambers, Cynthia Chambers, and Beckham Quesinberry, and her brother Greg Staley. Cindy leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter for her close friends and extended family.

A Hardworking Spirit and Passionate Heart

Cindy was a dedicated and hardworking woman. In her early years, she found employment at Elixir Industries, where fate intervened. It was there that her future mother-in-law, with a keen eye for a perfect match, introduced her to her son, Hank. This chance encounter blossomed into a love story that spanned 44 years.

Later, Cindy spent two decades honing her skills at Monaco Coach in the cabinet shop until the company closed. She then embarked on a fulfilling chapter, devoting her time and love to caring for children.

Celebrating Cindy's Life

In accordance with Cindy's wishes, cremation has been chosen. A memorial celebration of her incredible life will be held at Billings Funeral Home on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11:00 am, with visitation beginning there at 10 am. Family friend Lyndsey Enfield will officiate services. Guests are encouraged to bring their favorite jokes, cherished memories of Cindy, and perhaps a tissue or two. Following the service, a burial ceremony will be held at Prairie Street Cemetery.

A Passion for Family and Fun

Cindy's heart overflowed with love for her family, especially her dogs. At one point, she shared her home with five canine companions, a love that extended to her neighbor and dear friend, who harbored a similar fondness for furry friends. Cindy cherished spoiling her dogs and collecting all things related to their breed. The bond between them was undeniable.

Cindy was a passionate gardener, finding joy in creating a beautiful haven filled with vibrant plants. She delighted in sharing her knowledge and love of gardening with her granddaughters, teaching them the secrets of nurturing life.

Beyond her family and furry companions, Cindy treasured spending time with her friends. Weekends were often filled with day-long shopping adventures, forging lasting memories and laughter. She was a dedicated babysitter for her great-grandchildren, attending all their events with unwavering support.

A Wife, Mother, and Friend Remembered

Cindy will be remembered as the love of Hank's life, a sweet and selfless woman who nurtured the children in her life. Her sassy spirit and zest for life were infectious. She loved to laugh, tell stories, and fill any room with warmth and joy. Her absence leaves a void, but her memory will be a source of comfort and inspiration for all who knew and loved her.
