Linda worked most recently at United Shade in Elkhart where she honorably retired 14 years ago.
In her spare time, Linda was passionate about yard work, enjoying the time she could spend tending to her flowers or simply soaking up the sunshine. She also could be found going on camping trips, cooking, notably making her famous potato salad, or going out to eat, especially when she chose a beloved treat of hers, ice cream.
Most important to Linda was her family. She adored spending time with each and every family member, making memories that would last a lifetime. Linda and her family would always spend vacations or holidays together, especially Christmas which was a very special time. It should be noted, as well, that Linda was proud to say that five generations of her family were all living at one point in time, a tribute to an amazing family legacy.
In addition to her family, Linda also adored her beloved dog of 14 years, Sophie. Her pup was always by her side as a loyal best friend and family member until her passing earlier in 2023. Linda missed her dearly and is now reunited with her, the pair overjoyed with each other’s company once more.
Linda will best be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who always remained compassionate and understanding. She had a strong will about her and when she would go through troubling times, she always managed to come out on top. Her spirit, along with all the love and joy she shared, will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she touched throughout her life.
