Leotis Peoples, 76, passed to his rest on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Golden Living Center, Elkhart. Leotis was born on February 11, 1946 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Albert James and Verda Lee (Snell) Peoples. Surviving are four daughters, Angela Peoples-Cham, Nicole Larkin, Linda Pulliam, and Janisha Stout; 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; as well as three brothers McIlwraith “Mike” (Veronica) Peoples, Henry Peoples, Asa Peoples; three sisters Cora Lee Peoples, Helen Henderson, Loretta Davis Burton; a host of nieces and nephews and special lifelong friends Benny Ray and Bonnie Williams.
In addition to his parents; a son Lee Anthony Peoples, five brothers, William, Albert, James, Chester Peoples and Ossie B. Cooper; two sisters Mae Lee Moore and Shirley Peoples, preceded him in death.
Leotis worked as a car detailer for Snyder Auto Sales in Elkhart for many years. He enjoyed cook outs, Martins Supermarket salads and Hacienda wet burritos. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
