Lawrence Jones Jr. Life Story

Lawrence D. Jones Jr., 45, of Elkhart, passed away on June 27, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born on May 2, 1975 in Saginaw, MI to the late Lawrence D. Jones Sr. and Linda King, who survives him.

He is also survived by his two sisters, Johnnie and Cleopatra Jones; several nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives; and many friends.

In accordance with his family’s wishes, cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart, IN. A memorial service will take place at a later date.

Lawrence had a love for the simple joys in life. He enjoyed listening to music, watching his favorite team in the NBA, telling jokes with his witty sense of humor, and savored cookies and cream ice cream on a hot summer’s day. Lawrence traveled often but in his free time he would play games on the Xbox. Although he didn't have a particular religion his faith was in Jehovah God. He will be missed greatly by his loving family and many friends.
