Ms. LaNeise Marie Johnson, 27, of Elkhart, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 1:30 am at Elkhart General Hospital following a rather sudden illness. She was born in Gary on February 4, 1993 to the late Robert Johnson and Mrs. Ernestine (Whittaker) Bean of Elkhart.
LaNeise accepted Christ into her life at an early age and was a breath of fresh air at any place that was graced by her presence. Kind, loving and dedicated to her son, David, LaNeise’s beautiful smile and sparkling personality allowed her to enjoy deep friendships and to make personal relationships that will be cherished for a lifetime in the hearts of those who knew her. She cared a great deal for her family and friends, and her empathetic heart always put her into situations where she could brighten someone’s day; especially those who were less fortunate than her. Lively and active, she was an encouragement and an inspiration to everyone she met.
She was a fantastic cook who never really limited herself to any one style or cuisine; she just loved to experiment, eat and enjoy!!! She also had a natural talent for braiding hair, and would spend hours on herself or her friends, making them look “perfect”. She was currently attending trade school to become a dental technician and worshipped at the New Vision of Life Church in Elkhart.
LaNeise had one son, Ezekiel Green, who preceded her in death and leaves to cherish in her memory, her step-dad and mother, James and Ernestine Bean, her son David T. Green, who resided with her at home; her brother James (Shalana) Bean of Peru; sisters Leola Bean of Laporte, Jessica (Tadd) Pratt of Columbia City and LaChelle Dolomon, Katlyn Dolomon and Ruth Bean, all of Elkhart; as well as her grandparents Maoris Whittaker, Ernest Whittaker JoAnn Johnson, all of Gary, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and extended family and friends. Additionally, LaNeise is preceded in death by a grandfather, Nathaniel Johnson
