Preceding Keith were four brothers, Wayne of Colorado, Harry of Arizona, Ted and Wilbur of Goshen and six sisters, Zola Rediger of Iowa, Fern Graber of Goshen, Bernice Hauder of Nebraska, Dorothy Morningstar of Goshen, Baby Betty, and Edith Wogomon of Wakarusa.
Surviving him are his wife of over 65 years, Mary Joanne (Williams) Klopfenstein; one son, Kent Eric; one daughter, Susan Wetzal; two beautiful and amazing granddaughters, Megan Fann and Sarah Fann; and son in law, Chris Fann. His son, Jon P. Klopfenstein preceded him.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. A service will be at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeremy Sarber officiating. Cremation will follow services with a private family burial at Rice Cemetery.
Keith worked for nine years at Nibco and then owned and operated Personalized Services Dry Cleaners for 37 years. Always a lively little boy, Keith grew to become an energetic man, always on the move. His special interests included yardwork, gardening, and growing flowers. After retiring, he loved to travel, take cruises, go on over-land trips, and one day dinner-theater trips. He loved life and lived each day fully. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
