Julie Jackson-Knoblock Life Story

Julie Ann Jackson-Knoblock, 57, residing in Elkhart, passed away after a brief illness, at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. Julie was born on Halloween in 1963 in Elkhart, a daughter of the late Verne A. and Gladys (Mitchell) Jackson Jr, in addition to her parents, a half-sister Nancy Capen preceded her in death.

Julie is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Monica King and husband Mike, five loving grandchildren, her sister Jennifer Hawkins and husband Michael, a half-sister Jean Vose and husband Charles as well as several nieces and nephews.

Julie was a loving mother, grandma and friend to all. She was a member of First Baptist Church and loved to read and study the bible. She had many friends, neighbors and acquaintances at the Riverside Terrace where she lived. She also liked to shop and travel, but her main passion in life and brought the brightest sparkle to her eyes were her grandchildren.   She will be loved and missed by her faithful little dog Pierre and her grand dog Audrey.

A Private family visitation will be held at Billings Funeral Home. A graveside service celebrating Julie’s life will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn, Indiana. Memorials are kindly requested to the family.
