Judith "Judy" Finn Life Story

To lose someone we love so much brings pain beyond belief, there are no words to ease our pain our sadness and our grief.  Not a second passes when you’re not on our minds. Your love we will never forget, the hurt will ease in time. We will hold you within our hearts and there you will remain to walk with us throughout our lives until we meet again.

Judith Kay "Judy" (Hartman) Finn, 75, of Elkhart, Passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 at her home surrounded by her kids and grandkids.  Judy was born on October 29, 1944 in Mishawaka to the late Charles and Nora (Andrews) Hartman.

She is survived by her children Rhonda Kay (Danny) Wisniewski, Dewight C. (Leanne) Finn, Sandra Kay (David) Morrical, Lisa Kay (Gene) Finn; also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Dustin (Sara) Wisniewski, Josh (Dannielle) Finn, Amber (Jeremy) Gadsby, Dustin (Angie) Finn, Ashley Megonnell (Driver), Tori (Dave) Morrical, Tristan (Kelsey) Morrical; 10 great grandchildren and her brother Jerry (Nancy) Hartman.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Evelyn Kirkwood, Joseph Hartman, Peggie Bice, Charles Hartman, Barbara McGuiness, Sylvia (Toots) Jones, Sherry (Tater) Peak, and the children's father Dewight Finn Jr.

Judy enjoyed life to the fullest and was always a source of positivity.  Her smile could light up a room.  She was a true earthbound angel that touched the lives of many.  Judy had a beautiful soul who truly cared about the people in her life unconditionally by always putting others before herself.  She was the kind of woman you looked up to and aspire to be.

She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones.  She loved the sun, the ocean, reading, gambling, and the outdoors.  She was proud to be a breast cancer survivor of 21 years and never missed a walk to support the cause.  Unfortunately, she lost her second battle to cancer, but her strength and determination to fight showed through to the very end.   Per her wishes, cremation was chosen under the care of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart. The family will host a celebration of Judy’s life at a later date.
