Joyce Ann Malcom, 78, residing in Elkhart, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at her home, surrounded by love and family. Joyce was born on October 31, 1942 in Manchester, Tenn. to the late Fred and Jean (Haggard) Brown. She married her true love and best friend Roy G. Malcom on November 18, 1961. Roy passed on March 9, 2019 after 57 years of marriage.
Surviving are her two sons Brian (Terri) Malcom and Scott (Kim) Malcom; 5 grandchildren, Cory, Brandon, Amanda, Tia, Kiara; 6 great grandchildren, Reagan, Avary, Blake, Elania, Davis and Declan; also, two sisters Barbara (Dave) Stealy and Pattie Brown.
In addition to her parents and husband, a sister Freda Higgins and grandson Brent Malcom preceded her in death.
Joyce worked for and retired from Crown International and enjoyed working at Jean’s Drapery Shop.
She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed sewing, watching Notre Dame Football and cheering on her Chicago Cubs. Joyce was very spiritual and was a godly example of a good Christian women. She loved God, family and country, with God first always in her life.
Services celebrating Joyce’s life will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, with visitation 1 hour prior. Chaplain Jason Brooks will officiate. Burial will follow at Olive East Cemetery.
