Joshua E. Roberts

Mr. Joshua Edward “Josh” Roberts, 21, of Bristol, passed away following an accident that occurred at the entrance of Timberbrook Mobile Home Park in Bristol. He was born in Elkhart on Feb. 5, 1999 to Eric (Candy) Roberts of Bristol and Melissa A. (George Clark) (Morrison) Ferrell of Hartford, Alabama, and is survived by his significant other Sara Brownlee and their beautiful daughter Augustine LeAnn “Gussy” Roberts, both at home.

Also surviving is his brother David Marchion of Riviera Beach, FL,  his sister Destiny Starr Evans of Rochester and step-sister Patcience Clark of Hartford, AL, as well as a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins.

 Josh had always wanted cremation in the event of his passing, and Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart are assisting the family in carrying out those wishes. On Saturday, October 31, 2020, Josh’s life will be celebrated with a gathering of family and friends at his Uncle Billy’s house from 2-4 pm. Anyone needing directions are advised to contact a family member.  

Josh was a 2018 graduate of the Elkhart Central Blue Blazers and was employed at Lippert Components in Elkhart at the time of his passing. Ambitious, motivated, intelligent and highly outspoken, one always knew where they stood with Josh. Brutally honest, sometimes to a fault, Josh was never afraid to approach something he saw as an injustice and speak out; especially if it was in defense of another. However, Josh’s other side saw a softer, gentler man who dearly loved his family, especially his sweetheart Sara and his baby girl “Gussy”. He was sweet, attentive and caring, and his big heart always steered him to help others whenever he could. In his free time, he loved working on cars, auto racing, and honing his shooting skills down at the firing range.

Memorial donations may be given in Josh’s memory to the charity of one’s choice. Thank you for your interest in his life story.
