A meal will follow the services. Pastor Justin Moore will be officiating. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting with cremation arrangements.

Johnny, along with his family, attended That Church on the Rise for many years. He was growing in his faith day by day, leading to the creation of a beloved song called “My True Love” that is played for the church and on mission trips across the world. He also was a proud Boy Scouts Leader here in the local area.

In his spare time, Johnny admired nature, taking up hobbies such as birdwatching, hunting, fishing, and sitting beside a campfire. He loved being around his family and friends, always being their guiding light, and enjoyed playing chess with his special friend, Kim. Johnny also was a skilled jewelry maker, using leather, beads, and more to create beautifully crafted pieces he would gift to those he loved.

Johnny, along with his smile, laugh, and twinkling eyes, will be dearly missed by those whose hearts he has touched throughout his life.
