Jean E. Woodworth

Jean Ellen Woodworth, 73 of Elkhart, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, March 21, 2020 at Elkhart Meadows. Jean was born on March 15, 1947 in Elkhart to the late Daisy Lynn May and Mary (Aman) Wright.

Surviving are her children, Jim (Kristin) Woodworth, Kimberly J. (John) Brewer and Carlen L. (Scott) Sharp; as well as 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; two brothers Jack Raymond May, Richard “Dick” May and her sister Karen (Tim) Toth.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Steve Woodworth.

Jean was feisty, tell it like it is person, but she also had a heart the size of Texas and would help anyone in need. She had worked for a time as a waitress, and also did truck deliveries for Formco.

A perfect day for Jean, would be sitting outside, enjoying a Pepsi, a cigarette and then going to play Bingo. She loved animals especially her dog Bella a Bull Mastiff.

A public celebration of Jean’s life will be held at a future date. Private family visitation and services for the immediate family will be held at Billings Funeral Home. Cremation was chosen. Please send condolences and memories of Jean to the Billings Funeral Home Website.
