Janice "Jan" E. (Tenney) Ganger

Janice Elaine Ganger, 87, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 at Greenleaf Health Campus. Janice was born on January 25, 1935 in Elkhart to the late Warren and Margaret (Webster) Tenney. She was a 1953 graduate of Concord High School. On August 2, 1953, she married her true love Max G. Ganger at Dunlap United Methodist Church, where she has remained a member since then. Max passed away on January 20, 2017. Surviving are her children, Douglas (Christine) Ganger, daughter Terri Ganger; two grandchildren, Elise (Brian) Cunningham, Brent (Anna) Ganger and four great grandchildren, Max and Jack Ganger, Libby, and Maya Cunningham. Her sister Barbara Carles preceded her in death.

Janice worked as a bookkeeper for many years at F & F Grinding. She was a lifelong member of Dunlap United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, crafts and sewing.

A memorial service and visitation celebrating the life of Janice E. Ganger will begin Tuesday, June 7, 2022 with visitation from 2-4 pm, followed immediately by a celebration of life service at 4:00 pm at Dunlap United Methodist Church, 23674 US-33, Elkhart, Indiana 46517. The Rev. Melissa Englehart will officiate. Per her wishes, cremation was chosen under the care of Billings Funeral Home.
