Born April 20, 1944 in Indianapolis to Jack Noel Frazier (d. 1944) and Rosemary Hodson Frazier, she was raised in Danville, Indiana by Rosemary and her stepfather, Richard Harold Helton. An active member of First Presbyterian Church in Elkhart, Jackie served as a deacon, elder, and choir member. Jackie dedicated her time and energy to philanthropic and service organizations including P.E.O., Jaycees, Tri Kappa, and Heart City Kiwanis Club, which honored her as Elkhart Kiwanian of the Year in 2002. Jackie enjoyed traveling, journaling, reading, writing poetry, knitting, and building miniatures. Her family and friends will always remember her boundless energy, optimism, and generous spirit.
