Life Story

Gwendolyn “Gwenny” Ann Lower, 65, of Goshen, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at her home.

Gwendolyn was born on September 24, 1957, in Chicago, IL, to the late Kenneth and Lucille (Petrone) Lower.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sheila Aston.

Gwen is survived by her daughter, Robyn (Cody) McAllister; grandchildren, Trinity, Italia and Rydyn; brothers and sisters, Linda Peffley, Diane (Bill) Riordan, Betty Austin, Shelly Aston and Kenneth (Debbie) Lower.

Gwen was a bartender in her early years. She worked hard to provide for herself and her family. She enjoyed watching movies, especially with her sister, Linda.

Most of all, she enjoyed spending precious time with her family. Gwen enjoyed sharing stories (whether true or not…).

Gwen had a big heart and would give the shirt off of her own back.

There will be no services for Gwen at this time.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
