Frank Combs

Frank Combs, 64, of Granger, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Flora, Illinois on May 31, 1957, to the late Arthur Franklin Combs Sr. and the late Zella “Delores” Stacey.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Karen Combs; daughters, Wendy (Workman) and Edward Olson and Becky and Derrick Cross; grandchildren, Leeah Wade, Adric Combs, Ethan Wade, Whitney Wade, Elizabeth Olson, and Jaxson Olson; sisters, Janice Laycoax and Treasa and Danny Ragsdale; brothers, Paul “Bud” Laycoax, Eugene “Gene” Laycoax, and William “Bill” Laycoax. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 4:30-6 p.m. at Grace Point Apostolic Church, 54662 Ash Road, Osceola, IN 46561 with a service to follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Mike Swinehart officiating. In accordance with Frank’s wishes, cremation will follow services at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart.

Frank was a hardworking and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who was his family and friend’s handyman. He could fix just about anything with his skills in craftsmanship and woodworking. Frank worked for 15 years at Forest River as a production worker and was a member of Grace Point Apostolic Church for many years with his wife. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his Harley and loved having Karen ride with him on beautiful sunny days. Frank’s family was everything to him and his grandchildren were his whole world. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.
