After high school, he received a degree in Construction Management from Indiana University - Purdue University, Fort Wayne. Ed was a well-respected businessman within the modular construction industry for many years, where he traveled throughout the United States. Throughout his career Ed managed to visit every state in America, except Alaska.
On May 31, 1986, Ed married the former Karen M. Koscielny. Surviving is his loving wife of 35 years, Karen M. Bollero (Bristol, IN), and their children, Julie N. Bollero (Tempe, AZ), Kyle E. Ed was a drummer and shared his love of Classic Rock ‘n’ Roll music with everyone he met. He had quite the vinyl record collection, which he played for his family on his concert size speakers. Ed was passionate about sharing his family history with his children, and frequently told stories about working at his father’s restaurant, “Joe N’ Eddies”, his trip to Italy with his father and brother, Steve, or his camping and fishing trips with his childhood friends, “the Bushmen.” Ed and Karen owned a lake cottage on Long Lake in Union, Michigan for many years, where the family made many special memories.
