David S. Peffley

David Scott Peffley, Sr, 51, of Elkhart passed away at home on Thursday, August 22, 2019. He was born to Kial and Marianne (Leffler) Peffley on March 29, 1968 in Elkhart. David married the former Amy Ritter on August 14, 1999.

David is survived by his loving wife, Amy; his children, David S. Peffley, Jr., Jamie Peffley, Tyler (Brittney) Peffley, Jasmine DeVore, Alexis St. Germain, Brittney Peffley and Keith Peffley; 12 grandchildren; siblings, Kial, Deb, Mike, Christine, Stan, Paul and his twin, Darla and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents., Kial and Marianne Peffley

David was the senior builder for LSR Conversions in Elkhart for 16 years. He enjoyed woodworking and was considered to be THE GRILLMASTER, especially for his chicken. He loved spending time with his family, tossing back a cold one and listening to tunes.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday, September 1, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart. There will be an additional time of sharing memories and a meal after the gathering at Ox Bow Park. Per David’s wishes, cremation has been chosen.
