Craig Gonsoski Life Story

Craig Matthew Gonsoski, 48, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in the comfort of his family, after a hard fought battle against Covid-19 at I U Health Methodist, Indianapolis. Craig was born on July 26, 1972 in Elkhart to Donald Thomas and L. Kay (Funk) Gonsoski. His father Donald passed away October 5, 2000. He married his true love and best friend Vanessa E. (Scoville), together they made a wonderful life together with their two daughters, Morgan E Gonsoski and Olivia K. Gonsoski; mother Kay Gonsoski; and his brothers, Mark A. Gonsoski and Steven A. Gonsoski; He also has a large and wonderful extended family that loves and will miss Craig too.

Craig was a Civil Engineer working for the past 15 years at DLZ Corporation in South Bend. His passions included Purdue Football, traveling with his family and watching his daughters play and coach volleyball.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, cremation was chosen, and they are hopeful, that at a future date a celebration of Craig’s life will be held, where laughter, sharing of memories and maybe a few tears shed to honor a wonderful life lived.
