Christopher H. "Chris" Gonzalez

ELKHART — Christopher H. “Chris” Gonzalez, 41, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018.

He was born Dec. 23, 1976, to Hector and Marilyn (Perez) Gonzalez, who survive him. 

He married Christy L. Mead. She survives as well.

Also surviving are his daughters, Alexis and Ashley Gonzalez; siblings Craig, Carl, Cynthia, Caitlin and Tyler Gonzalez; and grandmothers Rafaela Perez and Anna Gonzalez.

Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting the family with cremation arrangements. 

A gathering will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at That Church, 28082 C.R. 4, Elkhart.

A local delivery driver by trade, Chris’ heart belonged to Amazing Acres, a local theme farm especially popular in the fall. 

Known as “Farmer Chris”, he will be best remembered as the “chubby bald guy in overalls who drove the tractor and made sure all the kids had an awesome time!”
