Carolyn Ann “Red” Royer, 84, of Elkhart, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Waterford Crossing Healthcare in Goshen.
Carolyn was born on April 13, 1936 in Caroll County, IN to the late, Otis Allbuagh and Mary (Callaway) Allbuagh. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Royer; sister, Phyllis Browne; brothers, Dean, Donald and Jerry Allbuagh.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Michael Royer and Gary (Dori) Royer, both of Elkhart and her daughter, Beverly (Michael) Meyer of Altoona, WI; 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren with 1 one the way.
Carolyn was employed with Johnson Controls for 30 years. She loved the outdoors and going camping with family and friends. Carolyn was very outgoing and loved dancing and playing cards with her friends.
A Celebration of Carolyn’s Life Service will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 11:00 am at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart with visitation 1 hour prior from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Rev. Michael Pennington of Foxwood Hills Worship Center is celebrant. Burial will follow at Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen.
Due to Elkhart County health restrictions, facial masks are required for all those entering the building and there will be a maximum capacity of 25 people at the funeral home.
