Mr. Byron Ira Bussard, 45, of Bristol, who disappeared and had been listed as a missing person since January of 2015, has finally has his case resolved and closed as justice has finally been able to be served. Sadly, it was determined that Byron passed away at his home on the morning January 22, 2015, at the hand of another individual.
Byron was born in Elkhart on August 15, 1969 and is survived by his parents Charles I. Bussard and Frances M. (Donald) Bussard Fraser. He is also survived by his daughters Destiny (Steven) Waldron and Harmony Bussard and his brother, Charles Bussard. Another brother, David M. Bussard, precedes Byron in death.
Byron had received a degree in aircraft mechanics but was working for Teach Enterprises Century Foam at the time of his passing. He was also a US Army veteran, having served in Germany while he was with the National Guard.
Byron was an extremely family-oriented type of person, and his daughters always came first, as he was very proud of them. Always outgoing and interested in the well-being of others, Byron made acquaintances easily as he had a genuine liking for people in general.
Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart are grateful to have been selected by the Bussard family to assist in the culmination of Byron’s affairs. Memorial donations may be given to the charity of one’s choice. Please feel free to leave condolences and memories on Byron’s obit page.
