Bryon Leroy Crebbs

Bryon L. Crebbs, 64, of Granger, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Center for Hospice Care Ernestine Raclin House.

Bryon was born on May 17, 1958 in Bloomington, IN to Leroy and Maudie (White) Crebbs. Bryon is married to the love of his life, Angela ( Rice) Crebbs on July 11, 1997 in Elkhart. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Maudie Crebbs; and brother, Roger Crebbs and sister, Marilyn “Susie” Rudy.

Bryon is survived by his wife of 25 years, Angela of Granger; his daughter, Kayla (Tyler) Henion of South Bend; step sons, David Wayne Cooper Jr. and Matthew Allen Cooper (Cassie), both of Elkhart; 5 grandchildren, Dakota Hickey, Haylee Cooper, Matthew Cooper, Breanna Cooper, Madison Henion and 1 grandchild on the way, Carter Bryon Henion; brothers and sisters, Philip, Terry, Kathy, Dennis (Margaret) and Randy; sister-in-law, Diane Rice; and his faithful dog, Ellie.

Bryon was self-employed and an owner of Handyman Guys. He loved eagles, whether collecting paraphernalia or admiring them in nature. In his spare time, Bryon watched westerns and pro wrestling on television. He was a great neighbor and friend who would willingly give the shirt off of his own back. Bryon was loveable and friendly. Family gatherings during the holidays were special. Bryon especially adored his children and grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 7:00pm in Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514.

Visitation will be 2 hours prior from 5:00pm to 7:00pm before the start of the service at the funeral home.
