ELKHART — Betty Mae Watson, 95, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018.
She was born May 26, 1923, to the late Charles and Mildred (Butler) Vasbinder.
She married Woodrow Watson, who preceded her, as well as a stepson, David Koger, and several brothers and sisters.
Betty worked in housekeeping in several area inns for over 40 years, and enjoyed helping others through the Harvest Food Basket and Co-op food programs, and the Elkhart County Civil defense.
Surviving are children Cheryl (Robert) Archer, Nancy (Leon) Smallwood and David (Peggy) Watson, an extended local and out-of-state family of grand, great- grand and stepgrandchildren.
Visitation will take place two hours prior to the 4 p.m. service on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Billings Funeral Home and Crematory.
Pastor Tim Sheets will officiate and a private crypt placement will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
