Betty J. (Wilson) Drust, 77, of Elkhart, formerly of Bristol, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Riverside Village. Betty was born on September 22, 1945 in Coldwater, Mich., to Francis and Violet (Pulaski) Wilson.
Betty married Raymond S. Drust on May 22, 1965 in Coldwater, Mich.
Surviving are sons, Vincent Joseph Drust, Joe F. Drust; daughters, Jeanne R. (Ryan) Groth and Theresa V. (Matthew) Whitlock; and a loving granddaughter Allison Groth.
In addition to her parents, Francis and Violet Wilson, a son Cpl. Daniel R. Drust, three brothers, William, Wayne, and Kenneth Wilson; and sisters Lorraine Rosenberry and Connie Van Wormer preceded her in death.
Betty was a 1963 graduate of Union City (MI) High School. She worked for Elkhart County as an administrative Secretary retiring in 2010. Betty was a woman of great faith and was a longtime member of St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Bristol.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022, with visitation one hour prior, at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church. 403 W. Vistula St., Bristol. The Rev. Robert “Bob” VanKempen will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Bristol.
