Beatrice M Binkley

Beatrice M. Binkley, 81, passed away after an extended illness on Wednesday morning, November 7, 2018 surrounded at home by her loving family.     

She was born on September 11, 1937, in Helena, Ohio on her parent’s farm to the late Wilbur and Hazel (Nelson) Heberling. Surviving is her daughter, Eva (Frank) Treece of Elkhart, and her sons Marvin (Carol) of Goshen, Robert (Cindy) and Randall (Peggy) Binkley of Bristol. Also surviving are her 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her former husband, Ronald Binkley, her mother and father, three brothers and three young sisters, and three great-grandchildren.

Beatrice worked in the manufacturing industry for many years before retiring and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and many great and great great grandchildren. She was a stockcar racing fan and enjoyed watching her sons race every weekend during the summertime. Beatrice also enjoyed and loyally watched her classic tv shows, especially her favorite, M.A.S.H. She was a woman who loved her family and will be missed dearly by them all.         

Beatrice’s family will receive friends from 10 – 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 10 with a service to follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Albert Mitchell officiating at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 812 Baldwin St, Elkhart.

Per her wishes, cremation will follow with a burial to take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Elkhart.
