Baby Boy RyKker Kaylub Lee Sechrist

Baby boy RyKker Kaylub Lee Sechrist, of Goshen, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. He was 28 days old and was born on May 4, 2022 in South Bend to Ms. Molly Sechrist of Goshen.

Surviving little RyKker along with his mom is his brother Kingsly Rizor of New Haven, Indiana; his aunts Kennedy Lee Miller of Goshen and Cati M. E. Sechrist of Elkhart, his grandparents Lori and Mike Sechrist-Byland of Goshen; great grandparents David Lee (Jacqulyn) Overton, also of Goshen and a large, loving group of extended family and good friends. Great-great grandparents Robert and Alice Fairfield precede RyKker in death.

Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart are hosting RyKker’s homegoing service beginning with a visitation at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 1:30 pm. At 2:00 pm, a procession will leave the funeral home for Rice Cemetery in Elkhart where graveside services and burial will be conducted for RyKker by the Reverend Jeremy Sarber, Chaplain at Billings Funeral Home.

RyKker started out in the entertainment business at an early age. Chubby, pink and a devout aficionado of Similac baby formulas, RyKker kept his family laughing and always guessing at what cute thing he might do next. His busy days were generally filled with cooing, wriggling around, looking at bright things, taking naps and making political statements in his diapers. Strong, decisive and opinionated, RyKker preferred Huggies over Luvs and had no problems expressing himself when he felt the need to get his point across. He spent his entire life being loved on by his family and thinking about what it would be like to be a fox.
