Annelies Lovely Life Story

GOSHEN —  Annelies M. Lovely, 83, of Goshen, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018 at Greencroft Healthcare, where she had been a patient for 3 weeks. She was born on June 11, 1935 in Breslau, Poland, when it was under German control, to the late Schlosser Walter Josef Moritz Brosig and Martha Anna Elizabeth Lauff) Brosig. Surviving are her children, Ellen (David) Hiles, Peggy (Neal) Allen, Rick (Cheryl Hoffman) Lovely, Scott (Cathy) Lovely; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a ½ brother and sister Deiter and Trudy Hillard.

Annelies formerly worked at Hermaseal and Whitehall Laboratories as an inspector. She was also a dance instructor with Arthur Murry Dance Studio. She supported many causes including, Easter Seals, VFW and Girls and Boys Town. She also enjoyed cake decorating, flowers and picking strawberries and blueberries and then enjoy eating them.

Services celebrating the life of Annelies Lovely will be held Tuesday, Aug. 21, at 7:00 pm at Billings Funeral Home, visitation with the family will begin at 5:00 pm until service time Tuesday. Per her wishes, cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Alzheimer’s Association. On-line condolences may be sent to the family at www.billingsfuneralhome.com.
