Anna Hein

Anna Hein, 93, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Greenleaf Health Campus in Elkhart.

Anna was born in Apatin, Yugoslavia on April 15, 1928 to the late, John and Rosa (Springman) Ruderschmidt. She was married to the late, Reinhold Hein on November 9, 1959 in Chicago. He passed away on October 31, 1998. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Rosa Frisam.

Mrs. Hein is survived by daughter, Rosemarie (Alan) Blenman of Speedwell, TN and brother, John Ruderschmidt, Jr. of Elkhart.

Mrs. Hein worked at Gemeinhardt Co. for 22 years. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. Mrs. Hein loved to crochet, knit, bake and was an excellent cook. 

Visitation for Anna will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514.

A Funeral Service for Anna will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 1, 2021 in the funeral home, the next day. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.
