ELKHART — Zula M. "Peggy" Yoder, 90, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, Jan. 30, at Greenleaf Health Campus in Elkhart.
She was born June 24, 1924, in South Bend, to Temple and Lucile E. (Turner) Clifford.
Survivors include her husband, Dan E. Yoder; son Kenneth (Nancy) Ernsberger of Union, Mich.; one sister, Nancy (Gene) Lanthier of Osceola; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Peggy was previously employed at Strauss Bakery and later worked as the manager of Twin City Beauty Supply Co. in Elkhart for several years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of the Bristol American Legion Post 143 Women's Auxiliary.
A gathering of family and friends will be for an hour prior to the 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, celebration of life service at Boardwalk Retirement Community Chapel, 2105 Osolo Road, Elkhart. The Rev. Lewis Clifton will officiate. Cremation will take place at Altera Cremation Services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Peggy to the Boardwalk Retirement Community Chapel.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is entrusted with arrangements.
