BRISTOL — Yen Tol, 58, of Bristol, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born Aug. 8, 1955, in Banteay Meancheay Province, Cambodia, to Chrang Tol and Rin Heng.
Survivors include his wife, Sokheng (Lay) Tol of Bristol; three sons, Bunnarith Lay of Granger, Bunnarong (Amy) Lay of Mishawaka and Sarey Lay of Bristol; two daughters, Chanthy (Thomas) Kimberly of New York and Christina Lay of Bristol; three sisters, Yanna (Vibol) Tol of San Jose, Calif., Run (Louth) Tol of Cambodia and Ret (Pon) Tol of Cambodia; brother Yat Tol of Cambodia; eight grandchildren; and his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Voueng Tol and Khun Tol.
Yen was employed at Homecrest Cabinetry in Goshen for several years prior to his retirement.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, and for an hour prior to the 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, funeral service at Billings Funeral Home. Elder Joshua Trimmel of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses will officiate. Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Goshen.
